Actual Salary:  £35'400 - £45'100 per annum.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Your Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be based in a Specialist Residential School Education environment working with primary age children who have EHCP, Autism, and associated conditions. This setting is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and boasts fantastic facilities, enabling every child to thrive.


Duties
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote independence and support learning.
  • Implement occupational therapy programs aligned with the school’s ethos.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to support pupil progress.
  • Recommend resources and equipment to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Ensure the learning environment is safe and promotes participation.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and individualised learning plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide reports on pupil progress.
  • Participate in risk assessments and liaise with parents and external professionals.

Criteria
  • Qualified Occupational Therapist status.
  • HPC Registration.
  • Knowledge of Cerebral Palsy (desirable).
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams.
