Key Duties:
  • Provide exceptional care for our children and young adults during the night
  • Assist with bedtime routines, including washing and changing
  • Promote healthy sleep patterns
  • Perform regular checks on children and young adults throughout the night, addressing any issues that arise
  • Ensure all medical needs are met
  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and calm environment
  • Participate in light housekeeping duties during quieter periods, such as loading the dishwasher and keeping the environment tidy
  • Administer and record prescribed medication accurately
  • Communicate effectively, build trust, and support the children and young adults to enhance their independence.

Essential Criteria:

Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate:
  • Willingness to learn and exceed expectations.
  • Experience in the Care industry (experience with children with additional needs is advantageous).
  • Ability to encourage supportive independence.
  • Exceptional communication skills and patience.
  • Resilient and positive nature.
  • Creativity in meeting the unique needs of young adults or children.
  • Ability to work on a rota pattern, including every other weekend.
