The successful candidate will be working in a Residential School setting, contributing to the holistic development and support of children with social, emotional, and communication challenges.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate daily operations of the school’s administration systems and processes, including recruitment, quality assurance, HR, and record-keeping.
  • Prepare and manage key performance reports for staff.
  • Provide administrative support during the induction process for new employees.
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding tasks.
  • Support the HR department in managing training records, tracking sickness, and absences.
  • Administer and prepare all documentation related to examinations and invigilation schedules.
  • Liaise with examination boards to ensure accurate administration of examinations.
  • Organize, compile, and manage student reports efficiently.


Key Criteria:

  • Extensive experience in an administrative role, ideally within a school or busy office environment.
  • Adaptable, professional, and capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels within the school and with external agencies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
