Job Title: School Administrator - Pupils & Referrals Specialist Education School, Location: Caversham, Reading
Salary: £21,800 - £23,500 per annum (Actual Salary)

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for all new school enquiries and referrals.
- Oversee and manage the documentation process for new student admissions.
- Liaise with external agencies, team members, and parents to ensure effective communication.
- Schedule and organize meetings, including taking and distributing minutes.
- Report any safeguarding concerns promptly to the designated person within the school.
- Maintain and update the school's administrative systems and records.
- Track and manage student attendance, addressing any issues as they arise.
- Monitor and respond to school emails, forwarding them to the appropriate staff members when necessary.
- Provide cover for reception duties, including welcoming visitors to the school.
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience in a administrative role.
- Knowledge of SEN Education / Education desirable but not essential.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
- A good understanding of safeguarding protocols and the importance of confidentiality.
- Proficient in using administrative software and systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
