About the Employer:

Key Responsibilities:

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will:

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' learning and communication goals.
  • Provide training and resources for staff to ensure the integration of therapy goals into the classroom.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs).

Criteria
  • A registered member of RCSLT and HCPC.
  • Must hold a professional Speech and Language Therapy degree or equivalent.
  • 2 Years post graduate experience working as a Speech & Language Therapist.
  • Experience of working with Children & Young people with learning disabilities.
  • Experience of working with Children with an ASC
  • Experience of delivering provision through EHCP Process.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience working with children and young people with ASD, learning disabilities, and additional needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
