Childrens Leaving Care Team Leader / Deputy Manager job vacancy, Totton, Southampton.
  • £28K - £40K per annum, Depending on Experience & Qualifications.
  • Candidates must live within 15-30 minutes of SO45 area.
  • Car Driver Essential.

You would be working for a Childrens Leaving Care service which provides independent supported accommodation for Children aged 16 who are leaving care.  The young people receive floating support and low support needs across 5 Services, 3 Houses in Southampton and 2 in the SO45 Area.  You would be working for a fantastic privately owned organisation who are passionate about providing the very best outcomes for Young People enabling them to go on and live independently in their own homes, whilst supporting them with their long-term futures.
You will support the Registered Service Manager with the day-to-day operations of the Supported Living Service.  Your duties will include:
  • Supervisions, Appraisals, and ongoing support to the staff team.
  • Ensuring the staff team foster growth and encourage the Young People with independence skills and achieve positive outcomes.
  • Be a fantastic mentor who encourages, praises, and brings out the best in people.
  • Ensure the service is fully compliant and always striving for improvement.
  • Ensure the young people have access to education, employment, and training.
  • Support Young People to gain access to further support services where required.
