You would be joining a specialist residential school supporting children living with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and complex needs.
Benefits
- Up to £33,600 per annum, DOE
- 37.5 or 48-hour contracts available. Term-time only.
- Shifts - 7:30am – 10pm, 7:30am – 4pm, or 1:30pm – 10pm (we can talk you through the shifts). 2-week set rota.
- Alternate weekends.
- School holidays off including summer, Christmas & Easter.
We are recruiting on behalf of a Specialist Residential School for children and young people living with Learning Disabilities. They have created the perfect for environment for the children and young people to achieve their aspirations and reach their full potential.
Your Role
As a Residential Support Worker / Practitioner, you will join a highly skilled team supporting the children on a 1:1 basis. You will help support the needs of the children/young people, creating a safe and nurturing environment. It is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with their school service, their specialist staff, and you will learn and could grow so much with this provider.
Criteria
- Experience of working within the Children’s sector & children with SEN, Learning Disabilities, & complex needs – essential.
- NVQ Level 3 in either Residential Childcare or Children and Young Peoples Workforce, Health & Social Care, or Child Development – preferred, but must be willing to work towards.
