Full Time, Children' Residential Support Worker, Nights, job vacancy Shepreth,  Cambridge.  No experience necessary as full training & qualifications provided.

Location
Situated directly between cambridge & Stevenage just off the A10.   Commutable by car or train on the main Stevenage to Cambridgeshire Train Line.

Benefits
  • £11.72 - £12.78 per hour, £25 per night shift worked.
  • £25'645 - £26'321 per annum.
  • £1500 Welcome Bonus
  • 4 Weekly rota patterns of 14 Shifts 19:45 – 08:15am (Could be some flexibility).
  • Average 40 Hours per week, Full or Part Time hours available.

Duties
As their RSW/Practitioner, you would be working within a Children’s Home, which provides support for children and young people who have severe learning disabilities. Young Adults.  This fantastic service provides support for younger adults with profound, multiple learning disabilities providing them Residential Schooling and a home where they receive high levels of care.

  • Personal Care needs such as washing and getting ready for bed.
  • Ensuring good bedtime routines and sleeping patterns.
  • Doing regular checks throughout the night.
  • Ensuring any medical needs are followed.
  • Ensure that you create a safe environment for both the children & your work colleagues.
  • Light housekeeping duties during your night shift.
