Your Role
You will be working within a Children’s Specialist Education Residential School for Young People with learning disabilities. Joining our dedicated housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school. Typical duties will include:- Dusting, Polishing, and wiping down surfaces.
- Maintaining clean and sanitary kitchen areas.
- Vacuuming and cleaning floors.
- Tidying rooms.
- Monitoring and re-ordering cleaning supplies when needed.
- Reporting any building repairs or faults.
- Keeping bathrooms clean and tidy and well stocked.
- Emptying and disposing of waste.
- You must have high standards for cleanliness.
- COSHH – Safe use of chemicals.
- Ability to recognise the need for confidentiality.
- Good attention to detail & able to work as part of a team and on your own.
- Must be physically fit and be able to lift and carry.
- Good communication skills & bubbly personality.
